The Dolphin Dev Team has released a new version of their open-source Nintendo Gamecube and Wii emulator for PC, the Dolphin emulator.

Left unselected, dolphin defaults to nstc-u and sets ntsc-j if the iso is japanese (old behavior).
Selected, ntsc-j is forced.

NDS Homebrew developer Patrick Aalto released the 0.33 Beta version of the x86 PC emulator for the Nintendo DS only for the linker " SuperCard DSTWO". DS2x86 gives you the ability to play some old school DOS games. Check out the official site for directions on using this.

If you're an retrogamer, then you'll probably be interested that homebrew developer CrazyC has come out with an update for DOSBox v0.7.1. This application should theoretically allow you to play old DOS games on your PSP.
We say theoretically, since the developer tried to run SimCity 2000 and Tie Fighter on his handheld

This is not version 0.08 alpha, but version 0.10 beta! I decided to increase the version number and move DSx86 forward from the Alpha state with this version, as it has quite a lot of changes and new features. This also means it probably has quite a lot of new bugs as well, so everything might not work quite right yet
