Valhalla
Barta has just unrolled his homebrew game entry for PAlib's DS Dev Compo, Valhalla v0.1. As you've probably guessed already, Valhalla v0.1 is a DS port of the classic Amiga game Valhalla.
Now for those who don't remember, Valhalla was called a "speech adventure" because your character talks to you when you instruct him to do something. Barta says that the game still needs a lot of work but he wanted to share it with the rest of the homebrew community just as well. Here are a few comments from Barta:
In this version you can move around, look at everything, pick up things and drop them back on the floor. No use of objects or operating levers, yet! Feel free to wander around, look at things and listen to what your character has to say. The skull in the lower left room talks back.
Controls: D-pad to control movement, A to look at things and B to pick up objects and put them in your ruksack. You use the stylus to select objects and X to drop them. Y lets you toggle between normal and invisible mode. Valhalla v0.1 has been tested on Dualis and on Barta's M3-lite. For any bugs or glitches encountered, please inform Barta via the comments below so he can work on improving the game.

Players can place additional atoms onto their own atoms.
If too many atoms are place on the same tile the atom goes critical and will explode and place additional atoms.
When the atom goes critical it will send additional atoms horizontally and vertically away from it

Hi,
here's a early preview version of my new game called QuirkDS. It's a remake of an old GameBoy game. (Kwirk, A-mazing tater)
You can move the figure via stylus. Tap on a empty field and the (smart?) pathfinding routine will do the rest (i hope so!)
If there's more than one figure you can use them by touching with the stylus
