Animal Crossing DS Map Editor A map editor for Animal Crossing DS is now available. This will allow you to do all kinds of things including infinite wealth and being able to decorate your house with whatever you want! This should keep all of you AC fans out there busy for hours!
Hardware Requirements
NDS game "Animal Crossing:Wild World" (or the Japanese version "Oideyo Dobutsu no Mori"). I will use "Animal Crossing" to refer to either. A way of backing up and restoring your game save ! Currently this requires a homebrew capable NDS. You can run a backup tool (like ETool) or the NDS Homebrew trainer. Click Here for more info on the Homebrew trainer Click here If you don't have a homebrew capable NDS, see above for info on Action Replay possibilities. A Windows PC to run the map editor program (AnimalMap.EXE). General Installation/Usage Instructions
Download the beta acmapedit01.zip. Unzip it to your PC. Double click on the program (AnimalMap.EXE) to run. Select a game save to open. This must be a valid Animal Crossing game save (English or Japanese version). NOTE: I recommend you make a backup copy of this file first. Perform the desired editing operations described below. When done, press the "Final Save" button. It will replace the original save file with the changes you have made. Restore that game save file to your NDS (details will depend on your hardware) Play the game as you would normally. Changes you have made to your Inventory, cash balance ('Bells'), world map or room layout should appear.
