The latest build of PSPirates is now out and about. Brought to you by the team of MEXICANSNAKE (Main Coder), RIKARDO_92 (Coder helper), DEANAW22 (Main artist and coding helping), and XPLOREN (Artist), PSPirates is a slam-bang heap of homebrew piratey madness.
If you have a 1.5 PSP, copy and paste the folders __SCEPSPirates!V5 and %__SCEPSPirates!V5 to PSP/Game folder. For 1.0 or a custom FW PSPs, copy PSPirates!V5 to the same place.
Version 5 brings a few new features to the PSPirates experience. New animated sprites, a musical eboot, fixed images and code, new sound effects, new music, and night status at the trial mode are just a few of the cool stuff crammed into this new release.
There are also a couple of new game modes in v5: Sink and Madness. In Sink mode, the main goal is to sink your enemy by chucking rocks at them. Of course, your enemy's gonna throw rocks right back at you, so dodge 'em to make him lose stability. If you happen to start losng stability too, you can press the Triangle button to recover.

The second game mode, Madness, is an all-out shootfest. All you have to do is mash the shoot button, shooting as fast as you can while trying to not hit your pals.
You can unlock PSPirates v5's new game modes by completing trial mode first. After doing so, check in the gallery to see if they've been unlocked successfully. In the game selector, do the following:
* Press Select and down to play the new sink mode.
* Press Start and down to play the new madness mode.
The team behind PSPirates plans to add a story mode, complete with new unlockable areas, a treasure chart mode, new sounds and animations, and even more secret modes in Versions 6 and 7.
