  Quarters

Spastic has released a Quarters: A Drinking Game for the PSP, version 1.0, written in Lua. The object in Quarters is to bounce a quarter on a table into a shotglass where you would have some nice cold milk waiting for someone to drink. Here's what the author had to say:"

This is my second shot at programming in Lua. It's a digital take on the classic Quarters drinking game. The instructions should be easy enough to follow.

I'm new to programming so it was difficult to get a true multi-player format. If anyone has suggestions let me know.

There is some pretty dodgy physics on the coin, but it's good enough to make it fun to play. I'm going to work with a better programmer to try to get that more realistic, again suggestions are welcome.

I'd like to waive all liability for any damages that may arise from handling your PSP while drinking with buddies. And as always don't play PSP drinking games and drive."

Alien Puzzle Wii from GEMISIS: I'm currently working on a port of my game Alien Puzzle (originally for the Nintendo DS) to the Nintendo Wii. It's nearly complete, with graphics being one of the last parts for the first release (I am trying to make it look a bit neater)

Pimp my Pong (June 17 2008) Thanks to a code that Captain_Hero sifted from the early Wiimote Demo source, the homebrew developer grafted rumble feedback plus Wii remote control to an old arcade classic. What resulted became Pimp my Pong, and it was named so, because coder Captain_Hero hopes to add interesting features that could only be Wii-inspired or simply all out fun

Pong with Colour Mapping Pong has always been a timeless classic in terms of gaming. Even though it doesn't have the depth or the next-gen graphical qualities of today's games, it's still an addictive title to while away the hours with, whether you're playing against the CPU or a friend
