Scumm VM DS In a previous post, we announced that a big testing season for Scumm VM was coming up. Well, it's here. To kick things off, agentq and the rest of the development team on the project have released the beta version of ScummVM DS v0.11.0.
The latest version adds support for more games and new function keys for the virtual keyboard. It also features a new software scaler which is said to make text a lot more readable. Finally, as most would extpect, the program also has plenty of bug-fixes which address the problems in the previous release. Here's the changelog:
* New games supported: I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, Elvira 1 and 2 * Software scaler for improved image quality. Turn it on using the DS options screen (press select during the game). * Function keys added to virtual keyboard (used in AGI games) * Plenty of bug fixes
Since this is the beta release, it doesn't have comprehensive instructions yet. However, we would advise going over the documentation included in the zipped file before running any games in this emulator.
