Valmond's Untitled Hack 'n Slash DS Game Ludvig Larsson (aka Valmond) is not new to the game developement scene, he has done quite a number of games for mobile phones. He started to get the general idea behind the DS and its 2D graphics, which led him to create a yet-to-be-named DS homebrew using DevKitPro and MSVC.
As the homebrew is at its very early stage, there's really nothing much going on in the game yet. At this time, the "A" button is pretty much the only thing that controls the game. At this stage, the homebrew is shaping up to be a hack 'n slash game. Most homebrewers go the way of RPGs when creating games, probably because gamers love whacking enemies and monsters in combat. That, or it's a relatively easy game to program.
If you're seeing some familiar characters in the game, that's because the graphics for the main character were taken from the Internet; the rest were ripped off from the old games Valmond wrote a couple of years ago.
As with other newly released homebrews, developers always welcome large serving of comments, suggestions, and constructive criticisms.

In this demo, the AI certainly isn't very bright, but it still gets the point of this project across
