Here's a mighty useful program for the Wii: a port of GeeXboX, a program that lets your console play audio and video files. The program is based on gc-linux's Linux program, which lets PCs have Home Theater PC (Media Center) capabilities.
This is only the first release so it still has some bugs, and the author describes it as a "crude prototype," but expects huge improvements with the next releases. Still, it's a great start, and we're eagerly anticipating the next releases.
This version of GeeXboX for the Wii is able to support all audio and video formats supported by MPlayer, including RMVB, with the exception of WMV9 audio. You'll need a USB keyboard to run this baby as well.
Please go through the readme carefull before using the program. The readme has the necessary information for the program, including installation, controls and current known bugs. Now, enjoy the download!
