Currently, as of writing, the Top Ten Jumped Up Posts list in the PSPU page is occupied by four posts about a Homebrew Fixers. Don't confuse them, people. There's two: DDLord's 2.71 Homebrew Fixer GUI and 2.7 Eboot Fixer GUI by Dragula96; both of which use Coldbird's PSP 2.71 SE Homebrew Fixer. Gosh, even we are confused!
With this surge of jumped "fixers", DDRLord's got another one to add to the list, because he's been able to upgrade it once again, and only in a matter of hours. (is it just us or are he and Dragula96 in a race or something?)
Anyways, he's made his nifty little program much more accessible to all platforms. In his words: "on Mac, Linux, Solaris, RiscOS, or whatever crazy OS you like." Here's how he was able to do it:
* ported makesfo, unpack-pbp, and pack-pbp over to Java
* rewrote the GUI to use them instead of the Windows executables
"All you need now is either the .exe or the .jar," he writes. Both of those files are in one neat little zipped folder that's less than 215KB. And that's both the .exe and .jar files combined.
So. Are there any more out there want to submit a Homebrew/Eboot Fixer, and get into the whole jumping race?
