PSP homebrew developer Sam (aka Derce) has just released an application dubbed Remover v2.1. This PSP-based program is built to disable functions you don't need, which in turn frees up space in case you're planning to customize your XMB. As for the functions it can disable:
* Camera & GPS
* Asian fonts
* Network update
* Rss-channels
* Web-browser
* Certificate-utility (for 3.03 OE and under)
* Remote play
The good news is that in case you have second thoughts, Remover 2.1 can enable the functions. Just keep in mind that while this app will disable these functions, it won't remove their corresponding icons. We imagine the people who will most benefit from this app are those who would prefer to avoid having to hook up to a PC just to achieve these tasks. Remover 2.1 is designed to work on custom firmware OE.
Given that this applications will directly tweak your PSP's flash memory, we strongly advise users to be careful - mishandling apps like this can brick your PSP. With that said, we advise would-be users to view the corresponding readme upon downloading.
