Image Viewer Man, Infantile Paralysiser sure is one hardworking dev. Just yesterday, he released v0.3 test 4 of his homebrew app, that lets you browse pictures in your DS. Now he's got v0.4, and with it comes a lot of improvements.
Unfortunately, my basic Nihonggo skills only got me as far as "Good morning-How are you?-My name is Myra- What's yours?-Pleased to meet you" so I'm just counting on google translate to get an idea of what v0.4's features are.
Of course, we all know that google translate is not that accurate when it comes to translations, so if you have a better one, please let us know.
Image Viewer v0.4 features:
* The scroll speed-up was done in double screen mode of the slide show. * A small bug of the slide show was mended. * EZ4 was supported. (Thank you for Ko-tei) * A long file name was made to be scrolled when the IPK file was selected. * The reduction rate (37%/50%/62%/75%/87%/100%/125%/150%/175%/200%) was added, and the icon was added. * The custom jpeg format was added for small file size. (It is compatible with an old IPK file.) * A small bug was corrected. * The user interface was changed a little.

Well, I don't know whether I should be happy with this announcement or not. On one hand, Sony has totally blocked homebrew with their new firmware 2.7 and upwards. But on the other hand, the Flash player has given homebrew developers a chance to add tiny tidbits of functionality. Anyways, I'll leave the Sony bashing for another day

Propel mentioned a few days ago that he won't be updating anymore the PSPeriodic application. It was actually alright to leave the project at that moment as improvements and corrections were already done to it. It was working, as we've said, perfectly fine. Today Propel came out not with an update but a TIFF version of PSPeriodic.

Image Viewer Image Viewer Infantile Paralysiser has updated Image Viewer to version 0.25. As the name suggests, the Image Viewer allows users to organize photos and images stored in the DS (via media card, of course). This is particularly useful to DS owners who've amassed a cartload of images in a short span of time.Changes in Image Viewer v0
