Today we bring you more homebrew love, courtesy of dark420bishop, who has just released his PSP Submenu Icon Injector over on the QJ forums. This homebrew application allows users to change their PSP's XMB Camera, RSS Feed, Online Instruction Manual, Remote Play, and Certificate Utility icons.
This program is designed so users don't need to remake their topmenu_plugin and change all the labels. You can just take your current topmenu_plugin.rco and change only the selected icons. To install the PSP Submenu Icon Injector, you'll need the following:
- Visual Basic 6 Runtime Library. Click on the "discuss" link below for a link to thios download.
- Visual Basic 6 Common Dialog Box. This file is included with the program.
- bmp2mig.exe, icon-coder.exe, and zlib1.dll. You can get these files by downloading the Custom XMB Icon Packager (http://dl.qj.net/Custom-xmbIcon-Packager-v0.3.1-(languages-fixed)-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/12309/catid/151). The files are in xmbPackager.zipxmbPackagerdata302
Read the readme file included in the download for installation instructions.

We all love homebrew applications. Despite having said that though, it's a given fact that not every single one of us can be as good as some of the devs here like Dark_AleX, Noobz, and others. Some want to customize their PSP units but are afraid to do so because of the lack of technical know-how about hexediting or patches

Want to pimp your PSP without hassle? One of the few good places to start is with your unit's cross media bar. Speaking of which, the homebrew scene was recently bombarded by a lot of custom XMB waves.
One homebrew coder even had to come out with a flasher application to preview these first before actually trying them out
