  Babblr

Yongobongo has just informed us that babblr version 2.0 is now out and available for download. For those of you who haven't come across it yet, babblr is the successor to the Window Live PSP Messenger homebrew messenger portal for the Sony PSP.

At its core, babblr is an online messenger that will let you log in to AIM, MSN, and Y!M through your PSP. It also has other features, though. Using babblr, you can check email, read the news, buy stuff, browse the web and play games. All of these can be done by clicking on the various buttons on the babblr GUI.

PSP users who want to keep changing their application themes can also do so by using babblr's built-in theme switcher. At around 2.05MB, it's also quite small and easy to integrate into your own portal. If you want to do that, you can contact the coders through the "via" link below.

Usage and installation instructions can be found in the INSTRUCTIONS.txt file included in the download. Babblr may not brick your PSP, but reading the instructions could save you a whole lot of hassle.
