IRCDS DS homebrew coder Freemaan has just released version 0.2b of his IRC chat client for the Nintendo DS, the IRCDS. In this latest version, Freemaan has updated the application's compatibility, thus now allowing it to be used with MiniSD cards. However, he has also noted that there are still some minor errors that occur that he will eventually fix such as some minor graphic bugs, as well as the issue of not being able to connect to some servers with some routers.
In the meantime, he has listed the following as things that users may look forward to:
* IRC colors support * Autoupdate * More languages * DCC chat, transfer
