Fancy some space shooter arcade game? You came to the right place dude, at the right time. Homebrew developer Leo28C dropped by QJ forums today and released his second homebrew game called Invas0res. It is actually a Lua clone of modern day video game forerunner Space Invaders.
Leo28C humbly remarked that while Invas0res is still in its beta phase, it has been tested many times before and should be fine. Another remarkable feature for this homebrew is the new "story line" created by Leo28C himself. Here's how the concept goes,
It's the year 2189, the aliens are attacking! We must use Earth's most high-tech spaceship, the Alienixer AX-413 to counter-attack the invasion. You have been selected as the pilot. You are given a force field around your ship to protect you from the aliens' attacks, however it will only withstand a certain number of attacks.
We do know you are a very skilled pilot; however you must get training for this special model of the Alienixer spaceship line. You move around with the left/right D-pad buttons, and fire with the L/R shoulder buttons.
As we've mentioned, Invaso0res is still in its beta phase. We're pretty sure that the developer will appreciate some feedbacks and suggestions from you guys.
