Menu Spinal is back and has a new homebrew application for those of you who are looking to organize your homebrew stuff on your Nintendo DS. While the app itself is named a little straight forward, people can't deny the usefulness of this simple yet efficient homebrew from the award winning developer.
After his success with the developer's DiagnoSE homebrew app, Spinal has continued with a new project named Menu 1.1. This little application is based on Chishm's dldi loader and displays your list of homebrew apps on a simple side-scrolling menu. What makes this menu unique is that this is the first time that Chism's loader was built into a PAlib project.
While the menu still has a few graphical bugs found on the menu, Spinal says that he will be continually updating this project and clean it up in future versions that he will be releasing.
Anyway, here's a list of changes since menu 1.0:
* Background images are now changable, just place top.gif and bottom.gif in /menu_skin/ * B pressed to exit a folder * Day name is now correct * Up/Down to skip the folder list (moves menu to where the files start)
For those of you interested in getting this easy-to-use homebrew menu, go ahead and click on the download link below. Included in the archive that includes the latest version is a copy of v1.0, just in case you want to take a look at the exact changes between the two.
