IRC has always been a great way to communicate with friends, and with Zx-81's homebrew application that's based on Danzel's engine, PSPIRC, you can take the chatting experience with you - so long as you have your Sony PlayStation Portable in your pocket. Yes, folks, a new version of PSPIRC has been rolled out, bundled with the same amount of bugfixes and improvements that Zx-81's always been known for. Let's check and see what's new with this version.
--New graphics designed by Delight1 herself !
--Display all user flags in the user list menu
--IRC Channel name is now automatically added in command /TOPIC, /KICK and /MODE
--Command /MSG is now supported
--Command/Text line history
--Command completion in the console window!
--You can now paste the name of an existing tab in the console line
--Bug fix in /TOPIC command
--Bug fix in the new input line feature
--Bug fix in the help menu
And as with all of Zx-81's releases, all the information about installation and usage can be found in the readme file bundled in the archive, so make sure to go through it before doing anything. Zx-81 also notes that this could be the last release of PSPIRC, barring the discovery of any major bugs. That said, enjoy the chatting experience!
