XviD4PSPWhen we say Winnydows, you say XviD4PSP okay? Okay, here goes: Winnydows? (XviD4PSP!) Winnydows? (XviD4PSP!)
Now, why exactly are we doing this? Of course, it's not without a good reason. We're doing this because developer Winnydows just came up with a new version of the great homebrew, XviD4PSP. For the nth time, this application allows for easy PSP and PC video conversion for different formats (AVI, DIVX, WMV, MPG, MPE MPEG ASF MOV MP4 OGM MKV AVS FLV to MP4 [PSP AVC, AVC, IPOD], PMP [AVC, DivX], AVI [DivX]).
Very well in step with current developments, Winnydows mentions that Vista users won't have to install the required Microsoft Framework 2.0. Aside from changing the interface with the Windows theme and correcting corrupted PSP icons, XviD4PSP v4.043 now comes with two codec packs: Real Alternative 1.5 to encode .rm or .rmvb files and QuickTime Alternative 1.76 to encode .mov, .qt, .3gp or .hdmov files.
However, Winnydows would like to inform users that there is actually a slight chance that the program may work bad when the above codecs are installed. at any rate, here's the complete change log for v4.043:
* Rewritten Preview, EditAVS, SaveAVS logic.
* Normalize on preview don`t crash on DVDs anymore.
* Fixed bug 4000. Was if switch beetwin MPEG2 > IPOD > MPEG2 output formats.
* For MPEG2 encoding locked minimal video (1000) and audio (128) bitrate.
* Fixed MPEG2 encoding in 3-pass mode.
* Lame updated to 3.97.
* Now in always used pictiming version of x264.
* x264 updated to R601.
* Fixed bug - if import d2v file, change output name and press preview - program crash.
* Fixed work with VirtualDubMod.
* Fixed FLV import.
* Fixed bugs in End Do and Priority boxes.
* Fixed resume encoding jobs added in previous session.
