The same author behind Touch Me (I'm Famous), Mia, has posted a new DS game on Beyond DS called Ninji and Zarbi 0.1. Just like Touch Me, Ninji and Zarbi promises to test the limits of your multitasking skills, but this time, it will be your eyes that will be doing all the hard work, and not the stylus. Break out the eye drops!
You see, you control Ninji and Zarbi (bottom and top screens, respectively) at the same time. The object of the game is to score points by stomping on Bullet Bills a la Mario, or attacking them with either a sword, nunchuck, or shruiken - which only Ninji can do - and by capturing NDSes which pop up only on Zarbi's screen. In fact, those NDSes, which give the most points, often appear outside of Zarbi's jumping range - which means he has to hop on passing Bullet Bills to reach them!
Since you control both characters at the same time, but the Bullet Bills on both screens do not attack simultaneously, this game can get pretty hectic as you cross your eyes from one screen to the other! See how far you can get multitasking your eyeballs with this game!
Controls:
* left / right: move left / right. * B: jump. You have to charge the jump first, by holding the B button pressed. The jump is triggered when B is released, and its height depends on the charging time (limited by a maximum height). o As in Super Mario Bros, when stomping on a Bullet Bill, it's possible to jump higher if the B button is held during the contact. * Y: Ninji attacks with the equipped weapon. If the current weapon is the nunchak, it's possible to make it spin by holding the Y button. * A: Ninji kicks, whatever his weapon is. * L / R: choose Ninji's weapon, among: [1] none, [2] sword, [3] nunchak, [4] shuriken. The current weapon is indicated in the upper-right corner of the touch screen.
