NJ has updated his NeoGeo CDZ Emulator for PSP to version v0.1.9 Bugfix 2. NeoGeo CDZ Emulator for PSP is a port of NJis own NeoGeo CDZ Emulator for Windows. NJ has been working hard on this emulator these days. Information of the new version:
* 0.1.9 Bugfix 2
Please follow the following step when the emulator is not functioning correctly.
ERROR: lost synchronization
Solution: Try turning off CDDA.
If the problem is resolved, then the MP3 files for the game may be corrupted. Even when the data was correct, you may still not be able to copy it over onto the memory stick. Please delete the corrupted MP3 files and re-encode them from the game CD-ROM.
MP3 not played when CDDA is already turned on
MP3 files out of the neocd.mp3 folder is not searched by the emulator. Please verify the folder structure.
Some part of the graphic is displayed as a black rectangle
The cause is unknown yet, however corrupted MP3 files can also trigger it.
* The processing for handling sleeping is still not very stable currently. Some problems are not resolvable from the programming side. It may take some time to fix.
Changelog 0.1.9
Fixed a bug when displaying error message, a part of the sprite cache was cleared, thus making the graphic display malfunction.
Added sound volume control for soundFX and CDDA. I avoided the function for reducing the volume to lower than its original value, in the purpose of preventing any performance loss. If you want to adjust the volume, please adjust the balance setting of the sound and CDDA volume in the menu, and then adjust the overall volume with the volume button of the PSP. (Added menu item: Sound Volume, CDDA Volume)
You can now switch to player 2 in the controller settings. To do so, please access the °Controlleri item in the menu, and switch between °Player 1i and °Player 2i.
It seems sleeping is now functioning properly. When you resume the PSP from sleeping, the current track will be restarted from the beginning. This is an unavoidable problem when considering the response. Just to let you know.
* New problems may happen, since Iive made some fixes to the sound an MP3 processing.
Changelog 0.1.9 Bugfix 1
A prime problem on the user interface drawing processing has been fixed. The performance of the user interface drawing should be improved. It was possible that the sprite section could be damaged when clearing the screen. Maybe this problem is also fixed now.
Changelog 0.1.9 Bugfix 2
New sound and video bug introduced in bugfix 1. Sorry.
* The sleeping problem when using Zip file is not resolved yet.
* Fixing the source code for moving towards version 0.2 now. The next source code release is due to the release of v0.2.
