In the PSP homebrew front, we're treated to news that a new firmware decrypting utility has been built from the only slightly dated RSPsar Dumper tool provided by Anonymous Dev 2 via PSP-GEN.
Homebrew developer Poison claimed to have tweaked that that modified version so that Red Squirrel's Psar Dumper can decrypt and dump the contents of Sony's official firmware 4.01 for the PlayStation Portable.
So if you're in need of updated plugin files, or your just want to check what else has been altered, you'd best get your hands on a copy of the indirect PSP firmware 4.01 update. Then proceed to download to archive we've provided below.
