Homebrew developer Mediumgauge just rolled out a new update to PSP Filer bumping it up to version 4.1. The application, basically, concerns itself with file management. PlayStation Portable owners who use this program are easily able to edit, copy, delete, and transfer files on the memory stick and flash memory.
PSP File v4.1 comes with several bug fixes as well as new additions such as more character support and CPU speed settings option. Here's the changelog for this build translated to English using an online language engine:
* General:
o Added a metronome feature.
o Enabled to save CPU clock settings.
o Bundled kernel 3.00 version (in kernel3 folder) that cannot do following feature:
+ connecting to PC via USB.
+ flash memory maintenance.
+ writing files into flash0 (though flash1 can be modified).
+ showing flash device information.
* Filer:
o Added a feature to access ZIP archive file. (read-only).
o Changed normal-color to directory-color for archive file's directory.
* Text Viewer:
o Able to read LATIN1-1252 encoding.
* Picture Viewer:
o Fixed a bug that a progress indicator remained on screen when it finished to read a small picture.
