Here's something we don't see everyday: a rather mean-spirited piece of homebrew that has a moral lesson to all PSP owners at the very end. That lesson being that asking questions first and shooting later can save your life - and your PSP. Yes, it's the PSPrank - Hidden Menu homebrew from none other than developer LogiKz, who brought us the Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer.
So what does PSPrank - Hidden Menu actually? First off, it presents itself as "Hidden Menu" in the Game Menu. Naturally, curious cats will wonder just what this hidden menu yields, and thus will access it. A disclaimer will then pop up, asking them if they want to continue or not by pressing either X or the Right Trigger, respectively. Pressing either will execute a series of panic-inducing screens that will freak out any user, and will either cause them to (a)cry in fright or (b) drop the PSP like a hot potato.
After the ordeal is over, a simple message of sage advice is displayed: "To research items before trying stuff or else this could really happen." Which holds true for any situation, really, even with a rude awakening such as this.
There's also a neat extra feature that LogiKz put in that lets you input your name and a personalized message that will pop up to the pranked user after he or she accesses the Hidden Menu. Cruel, yet very satisfying.
