PSRacer You can never get enough racing titles for the PSP. If you are a racing game fan then PSP games such as Asphalt:Urban GT2 and Burnout Dominator probably take your fancy, but there are also many homebrew games out there to get you that tarmac-fuelled adrenaline buzz. The graphics may not be as refined as one of the above PSP titles buit for a first game PSRacer v0.01 by xslayer91 from our forums looks very promising.
This is a two player drag racing game where you compete against someone else to reach the finish line before they do using jsut one PSP. xslayer91 is looking for a GFX artist to help make menus, cars etc so if you like the look of this game and think you can help, contact him in the forum release thread. The game is due to be updated with trees, gear changes, a winner screen and more in due course, so there is room for improvement. This is a first release well done and it works which is always a good sign. The only thing we were worried about is how you can get two players competing on the same PSP easily. Here's the control system:
Player 1
Gas = Cross
Brake = Triangle
Shift = 'R' tigger
Stop = Circle
Player 2
Gas = Down
Brake = Up
Shift = 'L' tigger
Stop = Left
We cannot get it to work comfortably for two players but if you can give us a shout in the comments - enjoy!
