Lights Off (Feb 23/08 release) Remember the game Lights Out from way back when? It's a puzzle game where you have to turn off all the lights in a grid, but by turning off one light you turn on all the other lights that are adjacent to it. It's pretty challenging and can occupy a lot of time. Not to mention brain cells. Well developer Massif cloned the game and released a homebrew clone of the game for the NIntendo DS, called Lights Off.

Here are the developer's notes:
It is a 6x6 grid and has 150 puzzles total. There's currently no saving/loading, so you have to start from level 1 each time.

3D Cube  alatnet from our forums has made a demo of a 3D Cube. Although nothing actually useful, it's just one of those nice things which you can keep on your PSP. I personally love these demos. They show how much you can do with programming. Anyways, here's what he had to say regarding the release: I have created this 3D program mostly from scratch
VexedVexed
Vexed Cancan has created a homebrew port of the game "vexed" in lua. The game Vexed "is a puzzle game in which your goal is to move similar blocks together, which causes them to disappear. Blocks can be moved either to the left or to the right. When there is no block under the current block, the block falls down

Mathfacts  Math can be fun! We know, it sounds almost as delirious as vegetables are delicious. But math can be fun on your PSP. Mathfacts developed Math Facts v1.0 after failing to find any educational math games for the PSP. Mathfacts created the Lua program (tested on PSP 1.5 only) so his son could practice his math on the way to school
Area TenArea Ten
Area Ten Homebrew developer Kukulcan has come up with a new homebrew puzzle game for the Nintendo DS. Knowing the fun factor included with a lot of his previous homebrew games, this newest game called Area Ten is based on a popular Flash game, which tests your motor skills as you try to isolate two differently colored balls between the two halves of your DS's screens
Uplink for PSPUplink for PSP
Uplink for PSP is a Homebrew game for Sony PlayStation Portable. The game was entirely designed in LUA, and it uses Homemister's LuaPlayerHm (version 7 Release Candidate 1). The gameplay, graphics and sounds are based on Uplink: Hacker Elite PC Game (written by Chris Delay). The scenario is pretty simple: 'You are a hacker looking for fame

CrushCrush
Crush - Set within a 3D world, players use the game's unique crush mechanic to "crush" the environment and transform it into a more simplified 2D platformer. Once flattened, players utilize the 2D space to move to new areas to solve otherwise impossible challenges, and unlock secret items that were previously unobtainable in the 3D environment
The Magic NumberThe Magic Number
The Magic Number - Here's a fairly simple homebrew game from littlevish that reads your mind. The Magic Number is coded in LUA and basically tells you which number you are thinking of. David Blaine magic much, eh? It sounds pretty interesting enough for me as I'm all for those mind tricks and whatnot
Setris Preview Release 1Setris Preview Release 1
Setris Preview Release 1 from haffax: Hello, I am currently writing a small puzzle game using palib. It is not done yet, but already playable, so that you can get an idea about what it will be like. There will be stones falling down and you have to eliminate them by selecting three that form a set according to the Set! card game rules
