Nibbles If you own a Nokia handset then you're probably familiar with the game Snake. This homebrew created by Christian Auby is in the same - borrowing his words - "always-popular 'eat stuff' genre."
The gameplay for Nibbles is essentially the same. As you make your way around the game area, you gain points by nibbling on the fruits scattered in your path, while trying to avoid hitting the walls or bumping into yourself (Boy did that sound weird). The challenge is, as you go on eating the fruits, you elongate your character making it harder to maneuver. You'll be using your stylus to guide your character to the direction you want it to go. The game ends once you collide with a wall or yourself.
Changelog:
* added: after play, press start to restart game * added: saves highscore to gba-sram * fixed: no more line-ghosting * fixed: uses ndslib, entirely selfcontained otherwise * fixed: integer to string conversion is much faster * Now contains .nds for emu/loader, .ds.gba for regular passme.
We give it points for being an uncomplicated enjoyable homebrew. If you just want to pass the time and not exert too much effort, then this is definitely a game you should put in your DS.

JustChris from our forums has just released his first homebrew game for the PSP called Pick-O-Mania. It may look a lot like Lumines to you, but the object of the game is slightly different from drop block and pop. I would liken it to games such as Bejewled in nature rather than Lumines, with the player having to eliminate adjacent blocks to earn points
