PuzzleManiak 3.1 Homebrew developer Alex has released PuzzleManiak v3.1 for the Nintendo DS. This latest version reinstates the hall of fame feature and fixes some of the bugs that were found in version 3.0. The developer also gave word that the old high scores page on the official blog of the game has been replaced to display the world rankings of players.
The hall of fame is divided in 4 rankings for each game: since the beginning of Puzzlemaniak, Since midnight (GMT), Since the last 7 days(GMT), Since the last 30 days(GMT). Players who plan on getting their achievements on either the local or global list whould remember that it only stores the 20 best scores of each game/level.
In case you missed our previous coverage, this game is a compilation of 27 different puzzle games: Tents, Dominosa, Mines, Bridges, Light Up (aka Akari), Pattern (aka Picross), Net (aka Netwalk), Untangle (aka Planarity), Sudoku (aka Solo), Galaxies, Slitherlink (aka Loopy), Blackbox, Mastermind (aka Guess), Map, Filling, Solitaire (aka Pegs), Sixteen, Fifteen, Slant, Rectangles, Netslide, Samegame, Unequal, Flip, Inertia, Twiddle and Pyramid (adaptation of Cube).
If you plan on trying this game out, be advised that it requires DLDI patching. Like all homebrew applications be sure to go over the documentation included with the application to avoid any unwanted problems with using the game.
