If you are someone that likes test your own intelligence with puzzle games now and again then we have a great new homebrew game for you today that will certainly stop you feeling so smug about being world Sudoku champion. SensitivePSP is a puzzle-style homebrew game and beliebve it or not is the developer, Jamie Fuller's first release! The screenshots look like they have come from a PSP homebrew coding veteran, and you will get the same impression when you play this game too. It oozes quality, something that most developers lack when they make their first release.
This hasn't been rushed out onto the front page as soon as the coder figured out how to display 'hello world' on a PSP with Jamie Fuller taking his time to create a full homebrew game with no less than 60 brain-racking levels! Here's what Jamie Fuller said about the game:
The Concept of the game is to get from the starting position to the Exit block destroying all blocks along the way, You may go over the animated blocks more than once, Teleporters will throw you around the level, One way blocks (blocks with solid lines running through them) will also thwart your journey. You must destroy all of the stripey Yellow blocks, including the animated ones before you can exit the level. Each time you complete a level you will 'unlock' a new one, there are 60 levels in total, SensitivePSP automatically remembers which levels you have unlocked, even after powering off your console. you can select any of the levels you have unlocked as your starting level, from the main menu.
Does that sound good or does that sound good? The reason why this game is so adddictive is because it is a clone of a C64 version of the classic puzzle game sensitive, with the levels to a level which borders on perfection, with only a few levels being modified. One thing that Jamie has mentioned is for people not to moan that some levels cannot be completed. He has tested them all out and all of them are achieveable. Now you've heard all the hype, get the game. SensitivePSP comes packaged as a 1.5 compatible Kxploited Eboot so make sure you try it out on your newly-downgraded PSP!
