Progress on the ScummVM emulator for the Wii seems to be going along well, based on dhewg's recent release of the homebrew's rev 32565. For one, this port has now been recognized to be part of the official ScummVM svn. In other words, dhewg's work has been recognized as the emulator's official Wii port.
This new release will also be carrying a couple of new features specific to dhewg port (quoting the changelog):
* the wii port is now official
* updated icon
* the savegame issue is fixed (was not wii port specific)
We advise the readers to open up the file bundle's readme before doing anything else - all the installation and control details you'll need are available there. Enjoy the download, and keep on the lookout for any further updates for this homebrew project.
