Showtime Media Center is one of the most popular PS3 homebrew apps, and that's partially thanks to its constant version updates. In general, this build retains many of the features that make it the single greatest media playing option for your modded Sony console. In this update, you'll now be able to see when the app is using hardware acceleration. There has also been a few white space and image stabilization bugs squashed as well. Rewrite VDPAU implementation. Now works again after libav10 upgrade.
Also use the VDPAU OpenGL interop GL extension to avoid X11 pixmap hacks.

Sakya has released an update for his popular LightMP3 media player application, turning it into LightMP3 v2.0.0 BETA 2. For those who haven't heard of it, LightMP3 is a lightweight, power-saving music player application (supports MP3, OGG Vorbis, ATRAC3 , and FLAC).
