Plain boiled water from PSPChina forums has updated his Super Mario Portable Demo today. Super Mario Portable is a W.I.P. Super Mario game for the PSP. Instead of direct porting, the author is trying to implement the game engine from the ground.
Changes
Scrolling implemented, achieved the effect of the preview picture. Music added. Arrow keys for scrolling. The level design was not copied from the Mario games, since this is only a conceptual demo.

A lot of people have had trouble getting the hombrew game called SQUAREZ to work on the slim and 3.xx/4.xx kernel. For some reason even if you merged the KXploited version into one eboot it still wouldn't work.
Well I looked into it and did a little hex editing to make it work
