As reported earlier, PSPHacks.net has teamed up with RK Digital.net, Heavy.com Newgrounds.com and 71M to put out SWFPlayer v1.1. SWFPlayer v1.1 currently runs on v1.5 firmware, and is being tested for compatiblity on 2.x. Currently the player is a little buggy when playing flash files that use MP3 sound due to the fact that MP3 decoding requires too much memory, however PCM sound is fully supported, and hopefully the MP3 issues will be sorted out soon.
In this update we see some fixes for some of the slow loading issues in the earlier version as well as improved mouse support. Good news for everyone interested in this application is that the next release is already in the works.
