One of the most popular tools to make that happen is Estwald's Control Fan Utility. This is not an official update per se, but Evilnat has done the community a service by updating that particular suite for the latest 4.55 custom firmware variants. Having an updated console that can play backups without fear of overheating? Sounds like a winning combination to me!
