Now that the Pro CFW project is open source, nightly builds of the PSP custom firmware have been popping up on the dev team's Google Code project page. StepS and homebrew developer Yoti, one of the devs responsible for the constant PSPIdent updates, have compiled one of the latest builds with the most new additions.
Revision f6312063516a unofficial changelog:
PSP Dark Alex Packer compressed for compatibility with the user-mode payload module
Support for booting ISO UMD VIDEO (VSH Menu)
Latina1ISO Filename function added (Recovery Menu)
MS speedup has been added (Recovery Menu)
MS buffer function has been added (Recovery Menu)
CIPL Flasher (unsigned) for hackable PSPs (to make 6.39 permanent only on hackable PSPs)
Remember, this is a nightly build, so stability can become a concern. These nightly builds are in no way supported by the dev team. Also note that this is only for hackable PSPs. As QJ.NET forum member flofrucht explains, if you run it from a PSP 2000 (DateCode 8C/Ta-88v3), PSP 3000 and PSP Go you run the risk of getting a full brick.
