Aldo Has New Tools for HDD Reading and Savegame Hacking - Like savegame hacking and could stand to backup your hard drive? These updates to two popular Aldo GUIs are exactly what you need!
Aldo is famous for his many tool updates, and today he's got a few more to share. PS3 HDD GUI is a user-friendly way for both fat and slim PS3s to enjoy the benefits of read access to their hard drives. InA doing so, users can effectively duplicate any important system contents that may or may not be lost during hack procedures. Then of course you have Bruteforce Save Data. This allows CFW and OFW users to mod their favorite games by altering save files. HDD uses an updated tool for its base, and BFSD makes some small changes to compression and decryption. Check out the detailed revisions below!
PS3 HDD GUI
It's a GUI for the PS3 HDD reader tool created by 3141card.
The tool is a simple on-the-fly decrypter and ufs2 reader that allows to browse the content of your gameos (dev_hdd0) and copy files and folders to PC.
PS3 HDD will only read (Nothing is written to the PS3 HDD, so it should be very safe). PS3 HDD for Slim and FAT models are now supported.
PS3 Bruteforce Save Data
It's a frontend for flatz save data tools 0.2.3. It finds the keys of several games in seconds and let you resign your saved games and trophies. A wide selection of cheats and checksums for 711 titles is also available ready to be applied to the saves.
Features: Resign trophies or saves, preview images of trophies, direct FTP download/Upload saves or trophies from/to PS3, unlock saves/trophies to work on any PS3 account, unlock saves/trophies with FAKE account id, added support for Game Genie cheats, fixed issue with patch SFO, improved load time. Multiple saves can be resigned in a single step. Direct update of the repository of cheats from ps3cheating.net. Patch Creator 1.6.7 plugin to assist in the creation of save patches and quick access to PS3 Save Portal with several saves that only need to be resigned.
New in 4.1.4: Read default recompression settings from games.conf. Reworked the decryption when a file is double clicked.
TIP: After you resign and replace your trophies, it is required to Rebuild Database through Recovery Menu, and launch a game that will do "Sync Trophies" on it's startup in order to get the trophies working properly.
