Control Fan Utility 1.10: An Alexander Mod With Coolness in Mind - Following up on his Iris Manager release, Alexander is back with a small update to Control Fan Utility. Guess what? It supports CFW 4.50!
If you fear that your PS3 will one day be rendered useless by a YLOD, check out this awesome mod by Alexander. Essentially what it does is allow the user to have greater control over console cooling by selecting from a variety of different modes. If you think the system needs more air while playing a strenuous game, just set the behavior up and the app will do the rest. Just like many recent updates, this one is specially designed to work on 4.50 CFW.
AVAILABLE MODES:
0 > Maximum fan speed. 1 > SYSCON Fan control. 2 > Manual Control fan speed. Payload > Control Fans Alternative to the Official Sony.
GUIDE:
- SQUARE to change modes.
- Arrow UP/DOWN to Increase/Decrease the speed of the fan in Mode 2.
- TRIANGLE to return to the XMB.
- START to store the speed in Mode 2.
NOTE:
Tested with CFW 4.50 FERROX 1.0 on a CECH-2004A.
