One of the most recognizable homebrew application in the Nintendo DS homebrew scene is once again updated. After entering final beta 3 a few days ago, Infantile Paralysiser has released MoonShell 1.6 final beta 4. Impressive? Well, what can you expect from an established dev like him, right?
Now you may ask, what's new this time around? Well, there are no changes in the main body of MoonShell. Most of the changes could be found in the DLDI driver. With that, we'll let you in on the changelog.
Changelog for MoonShell 1.6 final beta 4:
* DLDI driver changed: The NDSROM comment for R4TF was changed.
* DLDI driver added: ez5s_moon.dldi EZ Flash 5 (SD Card)
* EZ5 requests the firmware version 1.1. Please refer NDSROM comment window.
Now, for those who received a Nintendo DS this past holiday season and you are wondering what this app does, then you're in luck because we'll give you a brief background. MoonShell is a multimedia player for the DS, it has support for a variety of files such as DPG (video file), MP3/ NSF (audio files). Plus, you can also view picture files in JPG,BMP, and PNG format.
You will need a couple of things to be able to enjoy this one, the readme file holds the key to maximizing its capabilities, so be sure to browse through it.
