Dagowatt, a coder from the iR Shell forums has released a new updated version of his nethostfs application for use with Ahman's recently released homebrew shell program for the PSP, iR Shell v2.1. nethostfs allows iR Shell to interface with your PC and load files from it. nethostfs allows you to view and execute applications using files from your PC via a WiFi connection - It's just like having your PC hard drive in your memory stick slot!
This latest version is a Mac OSX port for nethostfs v1.5. It is currently in a beta stage, and as such may include a few bugs. The only known bug at the moment means if you listen to a .mp3, you can not open .jpg files from your PC. This has been tested with iR Shell v2.1, but any bugs should be reported to Dagowatt in order to improve this program for future releases. Have fun browsing your PC with your PSP - no wires required! If you don't have a WiFi router, remember that you can find the Mac OSX version of usbhostfs (the same as nethostfs but using the USB cable instead of Wi-Fi) here.
