PS3 ISO TOOLS - Rudi Rastelli has updated the patching ability of PS3 ISO TOOLS. Get the latest build here!
Another version of PS3 ISO TOOLS is back to save the day. As I've said many times before, this tiny tool can be used to rename, split, join, generate, extract, and patch ISOs to be used with Mamba payload or Cobra custom firmware. As part of the changes in this most recent build, you'll find the ability to patch 4.50 required game images to use on your modified console. Embedded updates will also be excluded from your ISOs to save space. For more info, check out the release notes below!
Changelog V1.95B:
Considers now that 'PS3UPDAT.PUP' will be excluded from the ISO (4 more details see Readme)
Now patches Game-ISOs that need firmware>4.50
Note:
There seems to be a problem that on some systems ISO will not be renamed after conversion. I assume an incompatibility with some anti-virus-software. But i was not able to reproduce this behaviour on my PC.
Therefore i've added some lines of debug-code in the current version. If you get error-messages immediately after conversion pls tell me here or via pm.
And pls, if possible, try again with your anti-virus-software disabled.
Regards
Rudi
