  PSPSSH

Homebrew developer zx-81 just rolled out a new build of pet application PSPSSH over at QJ.NET PSP Development Forum bringing it up to version 1.0.9. For the uninitiated, before we proceed, PSPSSH is a SSH2 client for the PlayStation Portable based from Matt Johnston's server and client Dropbear v0.48.1.

With this program, users are given remote access to their SSH-enabled PC units. This allows them to enter commands and run scripts from the handheld as if they're exactly right in front of their personal computers. We listed down the changelog for this version provided by zx-81:

* Add iso8859-1 characters support in vt100 emulation
* Add word.txt file to paste words in vt100 console (words in this file can be written using UTF8/unicode)
* All text fonts are now compatible with iso8859-1 characters
* Add all iso8859-1 characters in danzeff virtual keyboard
* Bug fix in IR keyboard .ini files with UTF8 specification (for example mapping string such as "u+c3a0" didn't work properly)
* New Targus mapping with French characters mapped from ALT 1 up to ALT - (see targus-include.ini file for more details)

Please refer to the Readme.txt file included in the download before installing and running the client on your PSP units to avoid any problems. The download package below includes builds compatible with FW 1.5, CFW 3.xx OE as well as the source code.

PSPSSH: SSH2 is a port of the version 0.48.1 to the PSP. This ssh client gives you a remote access to your PC (if you have a SSH server installed of course), and you can then enter commands and run scripts as if you were directly in front of your PC

WiinRemoteWiinRemote
WiinRemote  There's a new version of WiinRemote out, and the minor addition for it as actually something we were waiting for since we first heard about this nifty application. There's now an assignment for double-clicking! In addition to the double-click assignment, the changlog says this version has "use motion when lost IR added" as a feature
Remote Control for Mitsubishi TV'sRemote Control for Mitsubishi TV's
Carter aka Bomb has emailed us a program he's been working on - a television remote for Mitsubishi TV's! The program looks well made and should be a fun piece of homebrew to toy with over the holidays
PSP BMCPSP BMC
PSP BMC  Hageatama's PSPBMC bookmark forwarding tool is not something unknown to you guys. His previous release, version 2.09, had some bugs on it, that does not allow new users to transfer bookmarks, which has already been fixed in this release. Although version 2
DS2KeyDS2Key
DS2Key Sypherce has updated his application for the Nintendo DS, DS2Key v0.21. DS2Key sends PC keyboard signals through WiFi so that you can use your DS somewhat like a PC gamepad. In essence, you can use the DS as a controller to contorl emulated games on your PSP. Here are the updates in this version: PC Side: 1
PSP to MIDIPSP to MIDI
Since Rob King is still currently polishing his PSP Ableton Live Controller that allows you to control Ableton Live - a loop-based software music sequencer for Macintosh and Windows - wirelessly, he is releasing a "while waiting" application to keep us busy

fMSX-  It’s been almost two years since fMSX PSP last saw an update, so today seems as good a day as any to release an updated version
Open Remote PlayOpen Remote Play
Open Remote Play  From readme: Wouldn't be cool if you could run Remote Play from your laptop, desktop, or perhaps your phone? After 2 weeks of hardcore reverse-engineering, it's now possible! I would like to thank Dark_AleX for hacking the PSP. Without his work, ORP would not be possible. I would also like to thank TyRaNiD for psplink and prxtool
