Homebrew developers zx-81dropped by the QJ.NET forums to announce that he has updated his PSPTI99 to version 1.03. For those who aren't too familiar with the application, the PSPTI99 is a PSP port of the TI99Sim emulator and allows users to run programs made for the Texas Instrument's TI99/4 home computer.
Quite a number of improvements were added to this version of the PSPTI99. Aside from the speed improvement, the program now has support for vsync and autofire option. Here's the change log of the application:
* Speed improvements
* Add vsync and autofire options
* Add several new hotkeys :
o . settings such as fps, render mode, auto fire speed can now be directly modified inside the emulator (no need to enter in the settings menu)
o . quick save / quick load current state (no need to enter in the main menu)
* Default Hotkeys can now be set in the keyboard mapping menu
* (useful to add hotkeys on existing/previous keyboard files)
* Bug fix in the low battery watchdog
If you've been using PSPTI99 v1.0.2, then you might want to consider upgrading to this version. Like all homebrew, be sure to go over all the documentation to avoid and problems with installation and use.
