R4DS English Kernel Those active in the homebrew DS scene should be ready to update their R4 (previous update here), now that Team R4 just recently released the update to the R4 kernel. Now on version 1.17, the current R4 release addressed and fixed the following problems, as noted by the changelog below:
1. Solved the brightness problem after soft-resetting
2. Solved 2107 the "Thanks" problem
3. Solved 2110 problem
As always, in order to update your R4 just unzip all the contents into the microSD of your R4 flashcart. Select "Yes to All" when prompted to overwrite existing files to successfully update your R4. If you have any concerns, drop by the via link below to get more information!
