  Tanks

You can never have enough of Tank Battle games. That's why it comes as another good thing that Grillo has released his Wii homebrew game, Tanks v0.1b. The title speaks for itself - it is a Tank Battle Game that is akin to the one that comes with WiiPlay.

Programmed in C using devkitPro r15, GRRLIB, LibOGC and Wiiuse, Tanks v0.1b has been tested with two players, although it is expected to support up to four. For this particular version, you can have a blasting fun with the 4-player deathmatch; first one to score 10 kills wins.

Other tips for you to further enjoy this release:

* You can "TRY" to change the color of your tank by pressing up|down before the match starts
* If you stop blinking and you are over another tank, both tanks will get stuck, to get unstuck just kill one of the tanks

Anyhow, there are more to follow after this version, and Grillo has listed down his planned updates in his site, which you can check out at the source link. In the meantime, why don't you go ahead and download the brew file so you can enjoy this game? Just make sure to check out the readme for more information such as controls and whatnots.

Chase that cheeseChase that cheese
Chase that cheese  We already have quite a bunch of "chasing" homebrew games for the PSP (you have Chase that Pyramid, Chase the Penguin, etc.), truth be told this writer here is just waiting for someone to come up with a Chase that Coder game -- sponsored by Sony, of course. Harhar

Lua ZorBlocks  So Zordak fibbed. When he released his last version of Zorblocks, he said that it was final. No more. Stick a fork in him, he's done. That's all well and good, but he's a liar because he couldn't resist tweaking a few problems with his almost-final version
