After a long, long wait i've finally released the map editor to version 0.02 of psp mario. I've been very busy with exams, coursework etc.
So this is more useful for the creative people, again, please read the 'README' file. It contains everything you'll need to know, controls, how to submit levels etc.
For a run-down of the changes:
-Code improvements with rendering
-Collision layer updated with the latest resources from the engine, coins, koopas/red/green added.
-Also the possibility to chose mario/luigi's starting position included.
Now just a heads up for v0.03 of the game(PSP Mario - The New Worlds), it is still being worked on, i've done a bit of a re-code with certain parts like the animation, controls etc. Like i said the controls in the previous versions weren't that good, mario just stood still when he stopped walking and the jumping wasn't great in-game either. So i've been revamping the controls, there's a few bugs with the enemy collision code as-well, but yes i did take a little break from the whole coding world for a month or so hence why this has been released til now.
If i had to give a date, it would be sometime during March maybe early April.Hope you guys like it

Wii Earth Wii Earth
Here's a nifty new piece of homebrew for Wii fans to try out. Over at DCEmu, mat_dizzy has created Wii Earth v0.1, an application based of PSP Earth v0.2 that essentially allows you to view a handful of cameras placed on specific points in New York and London areas
AMAP4DS AMAP4DS According to Blind Melon, in that one song of theirs, "Three... Oh, three... it's a magic number..." And truly, Christ knows this well. Because AMAP4DS version three has three new maps. He's also increase the zoom level and it's now up to five. There's a larger map resolution now and it goes up to 1536x1536 pixels
5 New Maps for AMAP4DS His map-viewing homebrew app called AMAP4DS literally shows us the way...through subways, cities, and metros all over the globe. We already brought you guys AMAP4DS v3.1, which even included the source code for the app
PSP-Maps PSP-Maps
PSP Homebrew developer Royale has released a new build for the PSP-Maps application. If you aren't familiar with PSP-Maps, it's a map-reader that allows the Sony handheld to retrieve maps directly from Google Earth.
In honor of the 2008 NEO Spring coding contest 2008, PSP-Maps v0.6 has a brand new splash screen
EI 0 Map Editor You might easily mistake it with the DS homebrew Earth Invaders, given that they are made by the same person, but, Earth Invaders 0: Before the Attack is homebrew made for the PSP and is smealum's entry to the Neoflash Summer Coding Contest
Metro-Paris Metro-Paris For anyone who wants to backpack through Paris, or who actually lives there right now, it would be a great time to bring your DS along. An enterprising new programmer by the name of Christophe Andreani has created a working map of Paris, France for your Nintendo handheld. Better yet, it even works with the stylus. His work, Metro-Paris v1.0, is simply what it is
PSP-Maps PSP-Maps
If you were among the PSP owners that tried out developer Royale's PSP-Maps homebrew application from last week, you'll want to listen up. The coder has recently announced the release of version 0.2 of this application
AMAP4DS AMAP4DS Get lost. We dare you to try, now that Europe got just a little smaller thanks to this latest update for Christ's AMAP4DS homebrew. For those not in the know, this handy app displays a map of some of the more commonly travelled Metros and Bus routes along select countries in Europe
