Well, it's been a long time since we last heard of PSP homebrew applications developer, mcdongle. But going through our forums, we found out that he is back and this time, he is releasing a revamped version of pspWeather - now in v2.0 (beta). Basing from the app's name and the screenshot we have for you, you might already have an idea what this app does.
pspWeather is a network software that allows you to view the local weather conditions via your PSP. In the last time that we talked about mcdongle's creation, he has released the source code for this app and other devs tried their hand on it. Anyhow, mcdongle mentions that this release is intended for FW1.5 and these are the new features for this version:
* Semi-theme support. I hope to make this much better at a later date (PLEASE do not change the font file)
* An interface to get weather without reading location codes from the configuration file
* 3 day forecasts
* DHCP support
* New config file in XML format
Bug Fixes/Changes
* Too many to list =)
It's nice to know that he is back in the scene after a long absence and we could only hope that he continues with the updates.
