World of Sand beta From nornagon comes the homebrew port of the hypnotic game called Falling Sand by Dofi. It's not really a game since there are no points to make. And there are no winners or losers in Falling Sand. There are only complex and beautiful structures to create and stare at.
nornagon says the performance of his port "isn't great yet, but it's acceptable." But don't worry. He has great plans for World of Sand Beta v1based on the following future features:
* Falling Sand Title screen
* More materials/combinations (steam, ash, snow)
* Portrait view
* Hide-able toolbox instead of the arrow-key-selected icons
* A way to stop/start the flow of individual sources
* Different brush sizes
* Timer and particle count on the top screen
* Save/load to png
The code to this app will be released when he gets around to dropping it on a version control system under the GPL.
