PSP homebrew developer Art has released an update to X-Flash, an application which allows you to write custom icons. The program is now on version 18l.
It's been a while since we've seen any updates to the program. The last update was released way back in January last year.
This new build now has a new optional Lite mode, which grants you the option to run the program without any firmware version checking. Please note though, that this new build has only been tested on 3.52 M33-3. Art notes that:
It's still a 1.50 kernel mode program, and I don't know if it will start, or how it will behave with newer firmwares, or running under Time Machine.
Skipping version checking disables most of the program's original functions, and you will not be allowed to select firmware-dependent features. Users are encouraged to go through the readme before installing the program. Here is the changelog for X-Flash v18l:
* Added option in disclaimer for skipping firmware version checking which disables firmware dependent features, but allows the program to run on many newer firmware versions.
