It's only been a few days since the initial release of the WriteELF homebrew application for the Nintendo Wii, and Brakken has sent us word that WriteELFv1.6 is now available

Brakken has announced the release of WriteELF, an application from cybermind that allows users to write ELF files to their SD card. This release is made to be used with Team Twiizer's Twlight Hack.
The release of Twilight Hack v0.1 Alpha 2 allowed users to run ELF files on their Wii using an exploit found in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
WriteELF GUI
The Nintendo Wii homebrew application WriteELF was coded by cybermind and was aimed to allow users to write ELF files on their SD cards using their PC units. This particular program is currently on version 1.6.
Now Spanish homebrew developer TioSolid created a new program aptly named WriteELF GUI that makes the use of cybermind's program a lot easier

Changes on this release :
- Automatic fill of the first and last blocs number after identifying the nand
- Parameters not updated correctly for the wii nand (have to fill it manually before)
XFree86 video driver for wii-linux
Users of the Wii-Linux project might want to take a look at this new release from dev nuvalo. It's an initial solution to the errors with the XF86 video driver, and now supports 640x480-16boo screen config.
