iR Shell
Developer StoneCut dropped us a line earlier to announce that the latest build for the iR Shell homebrew is primed and ready for use. iR Shell version 3.7's biggest feature is its support for the Team M33's Custom Firmware 3.71 on the PSP Phat. It also carries several other new changes since version 3.62:
* Added support for M33 3.71 CFW for PSP Phat
iR Shell
The latest version for iR Shell has just been released! As Ahman himself says, this is more of a maintenance sort of release, but regardless, it's still pretty big news because it virtually fixes all incompatibility issues with Team M33's CFW 3.52-3/4. Here's the full changelog for iR Shell v3.62:
* Now fully compatible with Team M33 3.52-3 & 3.52-4 CFWs
iR Shell
It's been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over. Brought to us - brought to you! - by AhMan and StoneCut, the public version of the latest iR Shell is now available, and true enough, iR Shell v3.6 now incorporates support for Team M33's custom firmware
iR Shell
Yes, it is both a great and a sad day for homebrew. As the amazing coder Ahman himself has gracefully said "As in nature, everything has a begin & an end, iR Shell is no exception." Ahman has been working on this shell since January this year, starting off as a homebrew application called iR Commander
iR Shell
Ahman's iR Shell is undoubtedly one of the best applications ever made for the PSP. However, all good things can't last. With a heavy-heart he announced that this is going to be the final release for the iR Shell
iR Shell
iR Shell is the first "multitasking" shell program for the PSP, as well as one of the most reliable screenshot apps. Oh yeah, it's a Universal Remote too, don't want to leave that out! If all that wasn't enough, now you can finally listen to your own MP3's while playing a UMD game, browsing pictures, or playing a homebrew game
iR Shell 3.1
Appearances can be deceiving. And even though AhMan's status is ticked as "Retired PSP Developer," you must know that that can't entirely be true. Especially since he's just fueled up the homebrew scene once again with yet another public release of his latest version for iR Shell.
Now pegged at iR Shell v3
iR Shell Skinning Contest skin pack
The wait is over, and winners have been chosen. Since the announcement of the first ever iR Shell Skinning Contest, we can only imagine how many entries vied for supremacy. On top of it all, "skinner" Osgeld took first place with one of his two skins
iRshell
Homebrew developer Ahman has released iRshell v3.9. The developer has given word that this is the final public release of the application and that he is retiring from the PSP scene.
The latest version of iRshell is now compatible with firmware v 3.80M33-2, M33-4, and M33-5. In addition, the application also has support for 3.80 Popsloader version 2
iRShell
All of us mourned the news about AhMan stopping development of iRShell. But then, just a little less than a month ago, we discovered that AhMan was still at work improving iRShell to make it even better than it was currently. And personally, I expected nothing less than a knocks-your-socks-off release
