A new PSP homebrew game port has been released of the arcade-style space shooter, Chromium B.S.U., a game that was originally released for the PC and Linux by Mark B Allan. This is homebrew developer Royale's first port for the PSP.
The game is similar to the Kill Everything That Moves shooter. In this game, you are the the captain of the cargo ship Chromium B.S.U (hence the title). You take command of a fleet of robotic fighters to attack enemy ships, and keep your cargo safe.
For more info on what you can expect from the game, click on the screenshots above. The right one was taken from the website of the original game and gives more info on what you'll see on screen. Here are the developer's notes:
Known issues:
* Some graphic effects are disabled in the menu.
* The game is a bit slower during the first seconds.
* You may experience some speed variation during the game.
Royale also released the source code for the game, which you can also download below. The archive includes more documentation in the "doc" folder. Users are advised to read the documentation before installing the homebrew game.
